May Ball in March?

May Ball is coming up faster than many expected, and tickets are selling out fast.
May Ball is the second and final Kate Kennedy Club event of the year, a night of revelry that usually marks the end of the semester. Mirroring its September counterpart, May Ball is a night of dancing, music, and enjoyment for students. Many final year students will remember this as a mid-revision week opportunity to take a night (and the following day) off and relax. Unfortunately, due to semester dates changing, May Ball is now in March, and the opportunity to let your hair down now appears to be a mid-semester treat.

VIP ticket holders will be treated to traditional dining at Kinkell Byre before the after-party commences. At which point, buses of excited students will take advantage of the fairground rides, vendor food, and multiple dancefloors the Kate Kennedy Club provides. The musical line-ups of May Ball have yet to disappoint the lively crowds that fill the main and additional dance floors. Aside from the inevitable fun and memorable moments of
the evening, the Kate Kennedy Club events always have a charitable element. There are
still tickets available for this iconic event.
It is refreshing to see May Ball return to student life as a traditionally essential part of the St Andrian events calendar. I have yet to be disappointed by May Ball, and despite the change in timing, it is set to be a memorable evening.
